Gunnison Secures $27 Million Contract to Enhance Cybersecurity for the U.S. State
Department’s Consular Affairs

McLean, VA; November 21, 2024 – Gunnison Consulting Group, Inc. (“Gunnison”) announced today that it has been awarded a contract valued at up to $26.6 million for one year with four additional option years by the U.S. Department of State to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity
support for the Consular Affairs (CA) Consular Systems Technology (CST) Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Under this contract, Gunnison will implement a Zero Trust architecture strategy to bolster cybersecurity defenses, ensuring full compliance with federal security directives. Gunnison will also deliver in-depth cybersecurity policy, compliance services, and infrastructure protection to support the State Department’s mission of advancing U.S. security, prosperity, and democratic values globally.
